Don't forget to Look up!

Pelicans over Holden Beach, NC

My husband and I were walking along Holden Beach as I searched earnestly for a special ocean image to capture with my new camera.  It was too bright, and nothing spectacular stood out, when my husband exclaimed, "Nance, look up!"  Blinded by the light, I snapped as many pictures that I could and captured these pelicans.  As I reflect on the image and his statement, I find other meaning.  Looking up in faith for enough strength for each day.  I pray those of you who read gain enough strength for your day.

Isaiah 40:28-29 28Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. 29He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. New International Version

PS: The Carolina Anole was captured, I had hoped I could corral him out the window, but between my dog and I trying to corner him he just didn't seem comfortable to take that route.  I finally trapped him in a container, snapping off part of his tail and he and his tail end went out the window with my help.  Don't worry, according to Bioexpedition, this is a defense mechanism, and his tail will grow back in  a couple weeks and he should be fine.
